That's rather disappointing to not have a more definitive answer, but it sure does help to at least know it was intentionally left open. Not sure how you found this so quickly. The Google is strong with you.

TJames - It helps that I read this interview when the film first showed up — Valorum. TJames - As much as I hate to say this, you might want to hold fire on posting an acceptance. That quote is nearly four years out of date and the director may have shared something more recent that supersedes this answer.

You don't want to scare people off of researching an answer by prematurely accepting — Valorum. Good point, I'll give it few days. What's one less accepted answer in your enormous sea of points anyways :P — T James. Sign up or log in Sign up using Google. Sign up using Facebook. Sign up using Email and Password. I am by no means a great breather of words, but I like to think that the more I write, the better are the odds that one of my ink splashes will form a painting.

The Trap — Fantasy. Hope in a Manger — Historical Fiction. The Igloo in the Desert — Fantasy. The Assassin — Fantasy. An Unconscious Visitation — Contemporary. I'll persuade you to read this, just wait View all 4 comments. Sep 09, Tara Sim rated it it was amazing. The hidden messages and fun interior design aside, the writing is gorgeous and the story sprawling, and honestly I'm mad there isn't more.

Nov 23, Linda in Utopia rated it it was ok Shelves: cover-beauty. I am really not happy with this book. And that's just tragic. I loved The Reader and The Speaker so much, I was very impatient until this third book would finally be published.

I was expecting to get sucked right into the world of Kelanna, to just dive through this book with hunger and then be devastated when it has ended. Well, it wasn't a dive. And yes, it ended. Reason's why this book was disappointing I am really not happy with this book.

Reason's why this book was disappointing. Endless repeating of thoughts Archer and Sef, for at least the first half of the book, are constantly, endlessly repeating their fears and thoughts. I mean, yes. A lot is happening. They've endured much and they kind of have all the prophecies and things that have been written following them, torturing them.

Archer still has Nightmares about the people he killed, especially Kaito and Sef is still trying to figure out how to save Archer from a death that was promised by the book.

It is a lot to live with. But seriously, it's countless how often Sef said: "I need to save him. He must live. He cannot die. We need to change the future. I am a Killer. I am the boy with the scar I don't know why I am so allergic to this, but it feels like the author is not trusting us readers and that we actually REMEMBER things from the last book or the last chapter even.

Which brings me to Numer 2: Totally odd story twists The Story was building up around the following: - stopping the Guard - save Archer - get the Resurrection Amulet This certain Artefact has been mentioned throughout all the books, so when we finally come to the part where Sef and Archer find it, its just a long walk through a cave with Sex and then. Reed gets his Amulet, looks at it, done.

This could have been such a cool, fun tresasure hunt, but it was just a drag and seriously, the buildup from the last book was not worth it. Ah, I forgot. The original Plan of Sef and the Crew for the whole first part of the book was to run away from their fate, to do just the opposite of what was written in the book and flee to an island that can only be found by certain Pirate Captains.

This was a looong buildup. Aside from talking about saving Archer, every other thought of Sef was about being save on that island. Be free. Live a life.

And then, when they finally reach it, it's all burned and destroyed by the Alliance Army basically dealt with in one sentence and then Sefia like: "Guess we can't change fate, so we just go to war. Let me just master some of my magic skills first There are many changes in the book. But none of them a "Plot-twists", more like, "Ok, so we reached a dead end here, lets just try another thing.

All the battles. I couldn't warm up with Lac and Hobs, they seemed to have just been thrown in, so Ed would have some sidekicks. I wish there would have been more of Reed and his Crew instead. Also, in the end, the endless discriptions of Sea battles seemed to be a bit over the top for me. Oh, and can we talk about that an Army of Dead swarms in and just rescues the party?

A bit like And then: The end. How can you? How can you just kill this character? I mean, "kill your darlings", we've all heard it yes, but no. I just can't accept this. I fell in love with this trilogy not just because of the fantastic setting no books, no reading, a magical illuminated world Their Lovestory, which is really not in the middle of this series at all, made this so special. Archer had no voice in the first book And I kinda wished he would't have gotten it back , but still, I felt him, I saw him so clearly in my head.

I saw the fine relationship that began to spin between them like golden threads. It was beautiful. Their relationship deepens in this third book. There are lots of loving gestures, physical contact and deep feelings.

And we are going through almost pages of this book thinking, Sefia will make it, because she is the best magician the world has ever seen, she will find a way to change what was written. She proved that with changing the inscription on the Amulet But no. Archer dies anyway. And then we can read 30 more pages about grief and loss. But hey, at least the dead are back in the world. But still. Archer ist dead. And there is no use for it.

This is like It's like killing Harry Potter anyway, even though he just defeated Voldemort. I really really don't like this ending. That Sefia can do a wonder. You THINK, there must be a tragedy in the end, but there must be something to soften the blow still and to save him.

I did think, "well stupid prohphecy, Sefia will show you hell! And that makes is all so very The Storyteller claims she can't change anything, because all has been written but She was "formed" and shaped throughout the story, she acomplished so much and lost so many and then, the one person she loved most, the one person she wants to save so desperately has to die anyway??? Don't tell me "Well, Life's not fair.

And she decided, Archer has to die for some I don't need a happy end just for the sake of a happy end. But some form of hope would be good, right? But is there any, aside from the bit that people can learn reading and writing now? Sefia is lost. She is not happy. She's done so much and now she is broken anyway. That's just not fair. I get why Reed has to be "one" with the ocean in the end. But with him gone too This ending of a trilogy is just utterly sad and makes me want to put this book to the very end of my Bookshelf.

I don't want to feel like this after reading about pages with superbly written characters and an interesting worldbuilding. Even George. Martin is not so cruel. True, he kills many characters off that the reader grew fond of, but only so that other characters can learn or gain something from that. Start a war maybe. But what can Sefia possibly learn from this? I just don't get it. View all 11 comments. I don't actually have any words. My heart is full, broken, and mending. This ending was everything I needed, without me even knowing.

SO many comments on my arc were, "omg This book takes the characters we know and love, the prophecies, the wars, the relationships, and stretches them to where they belong. If you are I don't actually have any words. If you are a die hard fan, you'll love this book to pieces. If you are just hearing about this book, go get the rest now. You won't regret it. The movie hit it big on bittorrent sites in early November The director squealed with glee.

This reaction was the second admission by a film director or film producer that "unauthorized" downloads can be good for getting the word out for a work.
